We ask that while students are shooting that there be no talking to them from the crowd, or banter between students on the team shooting. Safety is our primary concern and we want students to have their full attention on shooting. Parents, grandparents and guardians are welcome to encourage their student in between rounds, away from the other shooters. Please refrain from coming onto the field during league shooting, as this can again cause safety issues as well as interferes with scoring properly. Please stay behind the light poles. Any adults on the fields will be trained coaches or scorekeepers. The two closest picnic tables to each field will be for the teams that are on deck to shoot next. Students on deck are expected to maintain gun safety and keep noise to a minimum as to not distract the scorekeepers, coaches or those shooting. Thank you!!
Your generous donation will help to fund our trap team, keeping costs down for our students.

In November 2015, the Buffalo Lake Rod and Gun Club was awarded a $25,000 matching grant by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Through local support from businesses, organizations, and families, our club was able to match that $25,000. In all, over $50,000 was initially spent to build the range that you see today. In January 2018, our club signed another grant contract with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. Our group's matching contribution this time around will be $12,500, giving the trap range $25,000 upgrade. The Buffalo Lake Rod and Gun Club uses money from fundraisers such as meat raffles and drawings, as well as donations, towards our portion of these grants. We are proud to help sponsor the BLHS Mustang Trap Team, and appreciate the overwhelming support from our communities. Thank you!
